Do you accept insurance?
Yes! Many extended health insurance plans cover our services. Please check with your provider to confirm coverage for physiotherapy.
Do you direct bill?
Yes, we offer direct billing to most major insurance providers. This makes it easier for you to focus on your recovery without worrying about upfront payments.
What should I expect during my first visit?
At the first appointment, the registered practitioner will discuss your concerns, review your medical history, and clarify your goals. A thorough physical evaluation will then be performed to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
What should I wear to my appointment?
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows your practitioner to access and observe the area being treated, so you can move freely during your assessment and session.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
No referral is required to see a physiotherapist in Alberta. However, certain insurance plans may require a doctor’s referral for coverage.
How long are sessions?
Do you provide reports or letters for employers or other purposes?
Yes, physiotherapy reports or letters can be prepared upon request. Please note that certain types of reports may be subject to an additional fee.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancelling or rescheduling appointments. This helps support the practitioner’s availability for all clients, gives another client the opportunity to book, and allows for fair compensation for our team. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $50 fee. This fee is the patient’s responsibility and is not reimbursable through insurance.
